Family Sues NASA After Space Debris Damages Their Home

A Florida family is suing NASA after space debris damaged their home. Back in March, a chunk of metal from a cargo pallet crashed through the roof of Alejandro Otero's house, not far from his 19-year-old son. When the pallet was released in 2021, NASA said it would spend some time orbiting the Earth before burning up in the atmosphere. The claim is seeking $80,000 for damages and emotional anguish Should NASA be held responsible for 'space junk'?
